ICYMI: I've started a personal challenge to build a community for streamers and welcome my first 30 members in 30 days. Here's last week's email.β Monday was officially day one! πIt's been little-by-little progress but since then, I've:
I've also gotten started on building out the landing page, but I'm blocked on finishing it until I figure out the visual branding for this project (which I'm procrastinating on)! π¨ Now, I have a (rough) 30-day plan for how I'm going to get this created, but I keep thinking of extra things as I build. Whilst on a walk with my partner yesterday, I was talking through this community setup, and as I was yapping, I realised something important. A last-minute additionSo, Streamers are used to creating & participating in communities on Discord. This is something I considered going in, and I'm definitely not encouraging them to create their own spaces in Circle - but I will want them to feel comfortable spending time in my community there. What I hadn't considered yet is that they might not get the hang of navigating, using, and posting in Circle from the jump. I only have about 30 minutes a day to work on this, but today I spent most of my time creating a 'Circle 101' space. When finished, it'll have mini-guides and tutorials for using Circle as a community member. That way, new members can learn more about how to best interact with the community without leaving it. They can also comment and ask questions in that space if they want to! I'll be back next week with another update and thoughts on how Circle AI is shaping up! I've been using it a lot to get the foundations built out, but I want to have a more fully formed opinion on it before sharing. Hope you have a great rest of your week!
