Build the backend systems that quietly grow your business

I have a virtual graveyard of memberships ๐Ÿ’€

Hey hey!

I know it's been a while since I landed in your inbox, and I want to ease back in gently rather than pretend I never left. ๐Ÿ’›

If you're reading this thinking "wait, who is this?"... hi! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm Zoe, affiliate program specialist and systems nerd, writing to you from rural Sweden. I've been helping online business owners build affiliate programs and backend systems that grow their businesses since 2016, and right now I'm working with Kit on their affiliate program and webinars!

I'll be sharing more about my plans for this space very soon. But until then, I have some news I'm genuinely excited about and I couldn't wait to share it with you.

Let's dive into... ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ

The membership graveyard ๐Ÿ’€

So, I have a small virtual graveyard of Circle memberships.โ€‹

Not because the ideas were bad. They were genuinely good ideas. The thing that got me, every time, was the showing up.

Iโ€™m a low-energy business owner. My best work happens in focused pockets, not in an always-on rhythm. Running an active community asks for the opposite of that: presence, responses, engagement, new content, and moderation. And thatโ€™s without even launching or marketing it.

So, when I watched the Circle Eclipse keynote and saw what theyโ€™re doing with Circle AI, *in my best Carrie Bradshaw impression*โ€ฆ I couldnโ€™t help but wonder: where was this three years ago?

Circle AI helps with the day-to-day of actually running a membership. Member conversations, engagement emails, surfacing who needs attention. The stuff that - well, for me anyway! - usually what tips the balance between keeping going and quietly closing the doors.

I also loved the idea of Circle Discover, a marketplace that puts your community in front of 100k+ people a month. People who are actively looking for communities to join. Which sounds like a great way to passively grow a membership!

For a lil solopreneur like me, thatโ€™s the difference between a community that thrives and one that quietly fades into the background.

If youโ€™re building (or thinking about building) a community, membership, or course-based business, the Circle AI waitlist is open now!

And while we're on the topic of tools getting a glow-up... ๐Ÿ‘€

Kit had their biggest product release of the year at Craft + Commerce last week, and there are a few things I've been wanting to share for a while!

โ€‹Subscriber Signals layers demographic data, social influence, and purchase history onto your subscriber profiles, so you finally know who is on your list, not just how they engage with your emails. That's the kind of audience research I used to piece together manually from three different tools. Now it's built into Kit Pro.โ€‹

There's also a brand new landing page editor (finally! the old one and I had a complicated relationship ๐Ÿ˜…) and the Kit MCP is officially out of beta. ๐ŸŽ‰

You can now connect your Kit account directly to Claude, or whichever AI tool you're already working with, and actually ask it questions about your Kit account + data. Draft broadcasts, tag subscribers, pull insights. All without switching tabs.

I'm working on updating my welcome sequence as you read this! ๐Ÿค“

That's everything from me today. It genuinely feels great to be back in your inbox and sending emails again.

I promise I won't disappear for so long next time! ๐Ÿ˜‡

Warmly,
Zoe ๐Ÿ’›
